There's a space in the corner of a retaining wall and the basement wall. It's under the stairs going up to the

screen porch, so when we put the water fountain in it and took a picture the image file had to be titled

"The Garden Under the Stairs"

Behind the front drive daylily bed there's a row of irises that came from New Jersey to live in our yard. They've been doing well for years. They bloom early, about the same time as the possumhaw that grows wild here.
